How do Women and Men communicate differently?
So - at our next Girl Scout meeting this Friday night, we'll be continuing the conversation about "What I wish someone had told me when I was 17 or 18" with the subject: How do Women and Men communicate differently? A lot has been researched on this topic in recent years, but I'm not sure that we are communicating better! I'm mostly drawing from my research of Deborah Tannen. I'd like to ask THIS group - How do you think Women and Men communicate differently? How do you best communicate with the opposite sex?

Something I highly recommend for any person, no matter their age, is the book "The 5 Love Languages". The book teaches you to look for what makes the other person in your life (parents, siblings, significant other, friends) feel loved, and use that as a way to keep your relationship in good standing.
ReplyDeleteIf I had read that many years ago, I would imagine my life would be a lot different now. Thankfully, I married someone who not only knows my love language, but matches my love language.
I agree, it is a great book!
